Football News

Some really fantastic achievements this month, to list a few. Our academy and late starters academy is growing by the week, well done to all of the players and the coaches for turning up every week and having the best fun, all while learning some new football skills.

Four of our under 13 girls have been selected to partake in a 4 week programme at the FAI centre of excellence, well done girls!

One of our former boys has been selected to play for the Republic of Ireland's under 16's, super well done!

Our under 18 girls side is developing by the week and already making great strides.

Our senior lads, both Saturday and Sunday are showing great progress this season, with the Saturday team already challenging for the league. A massive well done to all of the lads!

Our shout out of the month has to go to our under 14 boys, who emerged from the late starters academy over two years ago, most having never even played football before, travelled to Tallaght and came from 5-0 down to finish in a 6-6 draw. Now that is what we call a memorable performance. Super well done to all.

New Initiative

We are very proud of this new initiative called Infinity Football that we are embarking on. This initiative is already a huge success at Kilcock football club and we are in the process of establishing this wonderful new group at Ballyoulster. Infinity Football is an ASD group, for neurodiverse children aged between 6-12 years. We are currently looking for volunteers who may be interested in giving an hour of their time each week, or if you know someone who would be interested in helping out please contact Cathy. We have a limited number of spaces for the children, and they are filling fast, so please contact us as soon as you can if you are interested in taking a place. We hope to be up and running with the initiative in the coming weeks/months.

Easter Camp

Back due to popular demand, our camp is coming back for Easter. We promise all of the participants lots of fun and if the first camp was anything to go by, the feedback we received from parents and children we are sure to have a great camp this Spring. Bookings can be made via Clubzap, and family discounts are available.

Newsletter/Clubzap

Our monthly newsletter will now be published via the app going forwards. Not all of our subscribers have social media, and we are conscious that you may not be hearing or seeing the newsletters for that reason. So with that in mind, anyone with the Clubzap app will get an alert each month, and if you do not have the app, it will be available on our website also.

We will also be using the app to highlight our sponsors weekly. Particularly if they have any exciting news of their own, or a special offer etc, we will bring it directly to you via the app. So keep your eyes peeled folks!

There are so many positive things happening around the club at the moment, lots of exciting changes coming down the line, and we cannot wait to share them with you over the coming months.
