DESPITE THE RESTRICTIONS DURING LOCKDOWN - this is what Club Ballyoulster has achieved:
Parents innovated like never before: with the result, so did their siblings
Ballyoulster players filmed their football skills and they went national and global.
A compilation video was made by players
Coaches and managers organised virtual training sessions and challenges for players, and engaged over social media like never before.
Coaches and managers continually engaged with the club to assist with safe return to training
Communications with parents and players were maintained through Facebook and whats app by coaches, managers and committee members
Committee members held weekly virtual meetings
Club facilities were maintained and monitored
Vital road works on the club driveway were completed
Gates to the driveway were repaired and upgraded
Grants and funding were sought to assist with club finances
Up-grades to ESB systems were completed for the new floodlights
New state of the art security cameras were installed (thanks to Tony King)
A major upgrade of broadband cabling to the clubhouse was completed
Grass pitches were fertilised and cut. And repairs to tractors and grass cutting equipment were completed.
Sponsors were supported and promoted. And new sponsors were welcomed with new signage
Our mobile website was upgraded, with new functions for membership subscription and important information (download ‘ClubZapp’ in apple or google app-store. Search in ClubZap app for ‘Ballyoulster United AFC’)

A major clean-up of club facilities was undertaking for return to football
Project restart was initiated and on Monday 22nd June, we had lift off, and a safe return to training :) :) :)
It’s been a massive effort from everyone, which definitely proves the point: together is better.
