Last night we announced to our coaches that the club is hosting it's biggest EVER fundraising event on November 7th. Some of you may have been at one of these events before and have first hand experience of what a great night out it is.
So to shed some light on the importance of this event, first of all why are we doing it? In 2026, we have to replace the astro with new astro and install a shock absorber under it, we will also add on a warm up area just off the astro. The cost of this is over €200k !! the club HAS to resurface the astro otherwise it will no longer pass inspection and be left unused.
Clubs all over the country use fun events like this when they need to raise serious money, and that's why we are doing it.
There will be 16 Lip Sync acts on the night, each battling to get to the final and be crowned the winner!
What can you do to help?
Sign up to be a band manager and bring 3-4 friends or family members with you for the ride. (you do not need to be a Ballyoulster member/player to take part)
Help with sponsorship, we need 2-3 main event sponsors of €5,000 each. (other packages available also)
Buy a ticket when they go live, and come along and support.
Rehearsals with a full crew of choreographer's will take place every Friday for 5-6 weeks in the lead up to the event. Promo videos will go out on our socials, each act will have an iDonate page to raise funds.
We will be putting on a bus or two from Celbridge to Westmanstown and back on the night so if you want to come along with the family and have a bit of craic but don't want to drive, we will have you covered.
